BOOKED: Flappers Comedy Gig – June 12, 2016

The first showcase I did at Flappers in April was about pure survival. I’m not sure what I thought was going to happen during the 5 minutes I was on that stage but it involved some combination of cardiac arrest, an angry mob doing Braveheart like misdeeds to my personage and/or rabid raccoons attacking…

But, I survived.

Not only that, I actually had a little fun with it.

Now I’ve been invited back for a showcase next Sunday, June 12th at 5pm. An all-new set, all new jokes, 6-minutes all to myself. And I’m looking forward to it. Looking forward to having fun with it. And that, my friends, is progress of a miraculous kind.

If you’re in town, you’re invited. Unless you’re a raccoon.

Anyway, it’s only $10. Well, and you prolly have to buy a couple things off the menu. But come check out some future superstars up there with me: Faruk, Daniel, Gianni, Shahab, Yousef, Charley the girl and more.

And not to add to Y’ALLs collective pressure as you decide where to expend your free time and money dollars, but the more people buy tickets and say they’re coming to see David Acuff, the greater chance I get asked back for more shows. That’s the game.
