David Acuff is a Hollywood insider, a military brat, a comedian, a BMW murderer, cheeseburger connoisseur and divorced TIkTok’er. Based in Los Angeles, he blends heartfelt stories with Merlot-spewing-from-your-nose comedy honed over a lifetime.
With a Master’s in Cinema-Television, Acuff directed dozens of award-winning shorts including “Assassin Trainee.” He juggled many a corporate video job, wedding video bridezillas, and finally landed as a Producer-Editor at Disney. Yeah… that Disney.
He’s published seven books across sci-fi, horror-comedy and semi-memoir genres. He wrote and edited a feature film distributed by Sony and is now a seven time Academy Award attending photo ingester.
His creative work is fueled by a deep love for character-driven stories and the absurdity of the creative life.
